Highlighting the creative magic behind post-processed photos
(Scheduled post) Today’s post not only reveals the photo for September’s ABFriday One Photo Focus but it also has a twist. First: What is One Photo Focus? It’s the first ABFriday of each month when all participants edit the same photo. Fun? You betcha! Check out August’s 1PF!
In a nutshell, here’s how it works:
- The photo to be edited is revealed in the ABF post two weeks in advance.
- If you’d like to join in, email me at visualventuring@gmail.com. I will email you links to the full-sized RAW and jpeg files. Download the one you wish.
- Email me your “after” image no later than Wednesday, September 2 midnight EST, two days prior to the post.
The schedule and all the important submission details are on the After-Before Friday Forum page, as are the details for participating in “regular” ABFriday posts. Come along and join us in one or the other (or both) – we’re a fun-loving group!
September One Photo Focus Photo!
Submitted by Benjamin Rowe — Aperture64
From Ben: The picture is of Pendennis Castle, one of two defensive castles built by Henry the 8th to protect the the town and port of Falmouth. The Castle was in use until the 1960’s when it was decommissioned.
❗️❗️❗️Now for the twist: My post today does NOT contain any after-before galleries as I am on the road and can not readily access my email and the internet. Loré Dombaj of Snow’s Fissures and Fractures has graciously stepped in and is hosting this week’s After-Before Friday on her blog. Thanks so much, Loré!
So, please, show Loré some much-deserved love and visit this week’s ABF galleries over at her place❗️❗️❗️
This should be a fun photo to play with. Thanks Ben and Stacy.
