Monochromia: Mr. Jefferson

Woo-hoo, it’s Friday, so it means it’s time for Monochromia! Hop on over to Monochromia to check out ALL the black and white beauties.

Jefferson Memorial, close-up front view. Jefferson Memorial, Washington, D.C.

My parting shot after capturing golden-hour cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin.

  1. I’ve been so darn busy, DC seems so distant. Meeting new friends does help bring timeless memories to the trip. You know, I was there but do not recall this view at all. I love it! I guess I ran up close to marvel at it and forgot to ‘take it all in’. That’s the beauty of your eye and that camera. You capture what others miss. Thanks my dear xk

    • Thanks, Raewyn. The only way to get a shot of the monument is to, in fact, shoot upwards 🙂 I cropped in because by the time I got there, blue hour was long over and the sky was pitch black. Nothing of interest there, so decided to focus on Mr. J and his visitors!
