I like it Stacy; a full geometrical-shape-based composition (including the “extra” ones of the shadow), and the addition of the woman legs to break the rhythm and make a balance with the lamp!
I love the abstract quality of this shot and its sense of mystery. It tells a great story: Who is she? Where is she going? Is she carrying a suitcase and just arriving to take the elevator to an assignation? Love it Stacy 🙂
Andrew, I actually hadn’t thought about the “story” behind the shot, but I love that you did 🙂 Thanks for adding that element for me, and as always, thanks for your kind comment!
Thanks, Jules! I was having so much fun with the light and shadows I was finding. That a shopper with a bit of red happened in while I was shooting was just wonderful 🙂
Nice touch. 🙂

Quite mysterious. I like it. It could be the jacket cover of a murder mystery book !

Great capture and beautifully composed Stacy! Love the layering of patterns, and the ‘extras’ work really well.

Thanks so much, Jaime! I’m happy you like it 🙂 Turns out, going to the shopping mall to photograph was even more fun than going to shop 🙂

Oh, sure; and much much cheaper! By the way, coming from a woman, this a comment to analyze deeply!
