Lounging back on a large cream leather sofa, sipping the last glass of wine from an exquisite bottle opened with a relaxing evening meal in good company.
A little jazz on the music player and a live flame or two in the hearth.
Your picture really plays with the imagination. π
Nice take on “room”.. I really like this shot but cant say why… maybe its the voyeur in me! Wondering what is happening on the other side of the window….. I think its because the photo encourages your imagination!
Thanks, Karen! It worked out that no one was looking out that window, which was great because I truly doubt I would have taken the picture had someone been looking back at me π
Thanks, Michele, and thanks for leaving your comment! I felt a bit voyeuristic taking the photo, but I couldn’t resist the light amidst the rest of the darkened windows. Glad to give you a taste of a favored place.

I’m not sure exactly how to put in words the way this picture appears to me….but it feels like a hundred little stories all in one shot!
