I had to laugh at this 🙂 You’re right in that I’ve been posting both color and B&W versions of my Monochromia images lately. For this one, I debated and debated and ultimately decided I really liked the B&W best. Maybe at some point, I’ll post the color … Thanks, Kaz 🙂

Looks like a gelatin silver print. Good grief. All electronic. I must get a new camera.

Don’t quite know what to say to that, Lisa, except I’m loving my Fuji 🙂

I waited a long time to go digital because I didn’t like the resolution. Now I see these amazing photos and realize we’ve got it. seriously, you’re in that territory where everything is sharp in a very wide field, which I’ve been used to seeing in wide format film cameras printed on expensive paper. This is exciting.

Exciting is the perfect word for it, Lisa. Getting such wonderful resolution is making photography for me all the more fun and rewarding!

I love this picture. The cabs really add character to the image.

I love NYC cabs 🙂 They were the reason I debated about converting to b&w. But in the end, I thought the monochrome was a stronger image 🙂

Wow! Looks like either the Fuji or the processing has upped your game. This is an amazing shot. Forget ABF week 55. What in the world did you do with this one?

I’d like to think it’s a combination of the two 😉 Seriously, aren’t you finding the image quality of the T1 just superb?? I know Joe will often shoot in JPEG as even this quality is awesome, but having taken so long to move to RAW, I’m not yet ready to give it up! As for what I did, LR plus ColorEfex Pro to get the best color image I could, then into Silver Efex Pro for the conversion. Back in LR, I added a few additional tweaks. I have to admit I went back and forth between a few versions before deciding on this one. Seems I made the right choice 😉 Thanks, Emilio!
