My newest photo on Monochromia. Oh, how I love Fridays!
Jackson Hole Rodeo, Teton County Fair, Wyoming, July 2014
A quiet moment before the rodeo. Less than an hour later, a far-from-quiet moment.
And I have been to a rodeo… they are fun. Glad you had a fun time!

A blast! Broke down and just had to get a cowboy hat. Brings back great memories 🙂

I live in Arizona… I happen to sport a few Cowboy Hats here and there. AND… even Cowboy Boots! 😉

It’s definitely addictive, Nancy:) I’d say half of my photos now end up as B&W, something I never imagined doing. Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness got me started; Monochromia has kept me going. Thanks for your comment!

These western carnivals still retain the charm that these non-Disney events have always held.

Never having experienced one before, Robert, it sure was fun. And “charm” is a great word for it 🙂

When traveling out west, we try to visit any of the smaller carnivals that come into town – as it is a big event for the kids and locals – great shooting scenes as well.

I loved the turnout by the locals! Community events are the best, and as you say, great shooting opportunities. Gave me a wonderful glimpse into lives much different from my own!
