Wisconsin Avenue, Georgetown, Washington, DC
I was playing with my 35mm prime lens for the first time when I took these shots. I stood on the sidewalk and shot the action happening on the street, everything from bicyclists and pedestrians to ambulances and vehicles … just not all within the same shot. So while I didn’t quite capture the “establishing shot” the assignment calls for, these three shots tell the story of what a well-traveled street Wisconsin Avenue is!
they reveal the action … and the lovely pub / retaurant across the street, and the guy in the boss watching you 🙂

It is a lovely pub, Laurie 🙂 It’s appeared in a number of my shots. As for the guy watching me, yeah, I saw that after the fact – he doesn’t look all to happy, does he 😦

Thanks, Amy! It’s amazing to see these huge buses come down this street. That Big Bus looked like it was going to hit the woman walking on the sidewalk!

Lots of activity on this very busy street, Ben. It’s not far from the campus of Georgetown University and it’s a main artery for traffic heading into the area, so it’s filled with lots of action and lots of people. Fun place to go. Thanks for your comment!
