  1. Thanks, Emilio. The videos were taking me a long time to put together and I was ready for a change. I like being able to study screen shots when others post them, so I thought I’d give it a try. I appreciate what you said about the why being more important than the how, and certainly going back and looking at photos again and recreating my post-processing steps always leads me to question why I did what I did, and sometimes change those choices. Being accountable for those whys has definitely been the most daunting part for me in sharing what I’ve done, since I’m still learning. But I think it’s also accelerated my learning curve. That, and seeing and reading about all the work from each ABFriday participant. All that being said, though, the “how’s” are like icing on the cake – it’s certainly important to understand the whys, but the fun is in learning how to apply that knowledge to our own photos!   2. I like this idea maybe a little better than the videos you were doing. But either way, I like your thought processes more than how you carried them out. What I mean is, you explain the reasoning behind your changes. That’s more important- why you did something, not how! And I think I will try to remember this for future submissions.
