– Black Pond, Fairfax County, Virginia –
Yup, had to give way and make my second “spring” photo challenge post about flowers. But that’s because spring in northern Virginia ushers in amazing fields of woodland bluebells, too beautiful not to share.
See my non-flower “spring” entry, and all the other wonderful entries in this week’s photo challenge.
A beautiful series of your spring woodland

Beautiful photos of Spring Stacy! I really like the combination of bright green and blue together with earthy brown tones.

Thanks, Elina. It was my first time witnessing the beauty of bluebells and the incredible color palette they present. I know a springtime hike to this wonderful pond will now be an annual trek for me!

I don’t think it’s physically possible to have two ‘Spring’ themed posts with no flowers – frankly, I’m impressed you managed the first!
