Thanks so much, Adriana 🙂 DC has a lot to offer and a lot to see. It’s beautiful in the spring (well, I guess any place is 😀). So glad you had a chance to visit.
I like the gold of the wall as well and there’s something riveting about the image they’re looking at (and partially obscuring). There’s the tennis shoe in the image and the neat little tennis shoes on the woman as well. It’s a nice, almost-silhouette. Very neat.
Thanks, Pauline! And, yes, it was such a different color to see on a museum wall – that’s what first caught my eye. And then the two people entered and voila 🙂
Great post! I was recently at Washington D.C. and it was absolutely breathtaking!

I too, like the gold, Stacy, and how it allows the marble to stand out. I’ll visit monochromia a bit later

Such a great eye, Lisa. Once again, you’ve picked up on something in the frame that I missed! Love that. Thanks so much.

Great shot Stacy!! I love the color image! To me it has more contrast but what do I know lol.

Thanks, Laura! Because of the gold, I think I like the color image better too, but I was pretty pleased with the B&W too 😉

The color image is beautiful also Stacy but you know me, the monochrome image just adds that extra dimension 😀
