You know me and my color BUT….that B&W is awesome! I love the composition and the contrast. I see so much more of the pattern. Wonderful!

I’m such a fan of color, but I do think I like the B&W. So much detail!

Thanks, Laurie! I, too, prefer the non-distraction of the black and white 🙂

I like how the Tower and a couple of surrounding buildings reflect the blue in the sky. Great shot, Stacy!

This time I much prefer the black and white. The color is beautiful and I love the tones. But my eye is drawn more to the colors of the city rather than to the tower. If I hadn’t seen the b & w first, who knows which I would have preferred. I’m so fickle! 🙂

Nope, I like the black and white much better too, Emilio! Just wanted to change up the dueling posts 🙂 Thanks for visiting both!

I just went back and now can’t be as definitive as I was. Maybe I really like the color better. I can’t tell.

That’s okay. I just went back and found your comment and had to go back to the post to even see what it was. Clearly, I haven’t yet caught up!

Hello, Patti! Thanks for your kind words. I had such a blast that morning – walking the Brooklyn Bridge and getting back to Manhattan to catch the first ferry of the day for the Statue of Liberty. Always so much to see and photograph in your wonderful city!!

I love this. There’s so much of interest and the small pier building grabs my attention with its Victorian facade. It reminds me of Navy Pier in Chicago. But this picture has such sharpness at the same time it has lovely color. It’s hard to get both.

Thanks, Lisa. I never seen Navy Pier, but it was definitely a treat to see Battery Park from this viewpoint!
