Making my way from atop the Empire State Building to Times Square, I had to stop at Broadway and West 34th Street to capture the colors of Macy’s storefront. With the red of the billboard and the architectural lighting, I figured this was a good choice for this week’s Sunday Stills challenge: RED.

Fantastic Stacy. Oh Macy’s how I miss you!! Great capture of New York at its best – a great department store and a frenzy of activity on the roads with a typical NY yellow taxi cab to boot – this photo has everything 🙂

I like the Macy’s red, laced with the whizzing of the cars. You’re getting about with the night time shots. Nice ! I’m lazy about the camera at night.
