Looks like a beautiful morning in a lovely area of the world. Love the suns rays warming up the trees 🙂

Thanks, Kaz. It’s a special place and a view I never tire of seeing when I’m on the campus. I took quite a number of shots, not knowing what scene was going to present itself next. I think 45 minutes after arriving on the bluff, this one unfolded. Best convergence of sun, sky, and clouds out of the sunset 😀

Thanks, Ruchi 😀! A result of bracketing three shots and trying out LR’s merge to HDR function. It’s amazing the depth of detail and color in the HDR image. It was so much fun to post-process it. 😃

I sometimes like how my mind works as well. But not all the time, Stacy 😉

I love that this image shows the Potomac as a more rural, less urban river. It makes me think back to what it must have looked like to natives before development.
A gorgeous photo, Stacy.

Thanks, Robin. I had to return this camera, but just got the XT-1. So far, I’m much more comfortable with the X100T. I think it’s the first time in my life I’ve like the lesser expensive option 🙂

Surely heaven on earth, is it possible nothing bad is going on in the world outside this scene? My eyes might be lulled into a moment of that feeling, so I’ll stay a while.

So glad you like it! I had a few other shots where I did not get the starburst effect and the photo just wasn’t as much fun. This one was what I was after 🙂

Thanks, Alex. I was pleased with the field of view of the 23mm lens (35 mm equivalent), and of course, the lovely drama supplied by Mother Nature!

I used my Fuji x100T and bracketed three shots. Then I post-processed in LR’s new merge to HDR function. It’s a fine balance between overdone and nicely detailed. I tried very hard to stay on the softer side of the merge. Hope I did 🙂 Thanks!
