super shot. I love photos where some people are standing still and others are moving and blurred!

Thanks, Marsha. If I recall, you’ve got quite a few wonderful shots like this on Instagram (though I’m as behind on that platform as I am here, at the moment!) 😀

Most of mine have everything blurred..I like the 2 states of motion/no motion! But it is tricky…

Yup, definitely takes a lot of practice to develop that skill!

Love the effect Stacy, it was good that a couple of people stayed put so to anchor the scene and with the few that moved it gave just the right amount of blur. Parfait! 🙂

You’re so right, Kaz! Absolute luck that it worked out this way 🙂

I like the feet where you can’t see a person, especially the turquoise tennis shoe. Check out https://breezesatdawn.wordpress.com/2015/04/06/blur/ who has a different take on blur…

Thanks, Lisa. Bet Kelly would like that turquoise shoe too 😉 And thanks for the link to Robin’s post. Very cool photo. I’m going to go back and visit and really look around!

Ooh, I like that. I haven’t done that exercise in awhile, i.e. setting a slow shutter speed and getting the whirls of people movement … probably because I am sans tripod these days. But I digress. I like the sense of motion in the picture. Good one.

Thanks for that! Though I have to say, I wasn’t using a tripod for this – which just might have exaggerated the movement a bit with blur from hand-holding. But it seems to have worked pretty well 🙂

That was great! I love when stuff like that happens and you were fast enough to catch it too.

Very nice. It appears as the woman moved to that spot but then you realize it is a different person moving in the background

Pure happenstance that the settings and the motion worked out in such a way to end up with this rather cool effect 🙂 Thanks, Luis!

Thinks do happen by chance, but I also believe the more you are able to see, the more chances you get.

Very haunting, Stacy, but a cool shot. They could almost be ghosts, or a shot of where the past and future collide.

Thanks, Edith. I’ve held on to this image for a bit. I wasn’t quite sure if I liked it or not, but I just couldn’t let it go. It’s turned out to be my most-liked photo, and that’s taught me a lot about what can work in an image!
