Thank you so very much! I’m flattered that you like my photos. As for the haiku, it was my one and only – in honor of my dear friend gone too soon…

I didn’t really “get” haiku, but tried it last year in a WordPress Poetry class…fell in love with poetry. I find it both creative and therapeutic. Your photos are great…most of them have a point, which I like. 🙂

I appreciate that “point” comment! They didn’t always, but as I’ve learned, my filter has become much more stringent. I might like a photo I’ve captured but without a “point,” I’m finding it more and more difficult to post it. The pendulum swings!

gotha! there should be a point to everything somewhere… usually a point is obvious to me, but not always.

Thanks so much, Marjorie. It took me quite some time to write this, but I enjoyed the challenge. I’ll be curious to see what Donovan’s next one is, and I’ll definitely come have a look to see what you have written!

Thanks, Alexander. Never having written a haiku before, I’ve toyed with the idea of participating in Ronovan’s challenge for a bit. This week, the challenge words hit close to home and I knew it was the right time to try. I’m glad you thought the image and words worked well together. That means a lot.
