A (dare I say it) beautiful mid-February snowfall in Boulder, Colorado. Nestled majestically against the foothills to the Rocky Mountains is the futuristic-looking National Association for Atmospheric Research. Movie buffs may remember seeing NCAR (pronounced En-Car) in Woody Allen’s 1973 film “Sleeper.
Wow! Beautiful indeed!!

Okay, so I just admitted in another reply that I haven’t actually ever seen the movie … maybe I’ll put that on my bucket list 😉 Thanks for your kind comment, Cecilia!

A lovely Rocky Mountain view Stacy! The research building looks something out of an Ayn Rand manifesto!

It does, doesn’t it? There’s a winding roadway to reach NCAR with spectacular views of Boulder. Once at the top, up close, the building always makes me think of the movie “Coma,” an old medical thriller with Michael Douglas and Geneviève Bujold. Now, how’s THAT for dating myself? 🙂
