Love the composition – wouldn’t be nearly as striking if you’d included the entire person. Excellent!!

Thanks, Tina! I’m really appreciating the feedback I’m getting on the photo as I wasn’t quite certain of it when I first saw it. Seems breaking the rules can be a good thing 😉

PS Stacy, you left a comment for me on the one four challenge that I found on Polldaddy when I opened it. Strange it ending up there!! I am not able to reply to it there but wanted to thank you.

It was a weird place I was taken to, Cybele. I don’t know how I ended up there either 😉 Anyway, thanks for the “thanks.” It was my pleasure!

Fantastic photography! I love the depth and richness as well as the composition! I am reminded of the images of Vivian Maier….
I would love to be that individual waiting for the subway in NYC and the focus from behind your lens! Striking art, for certain!

Kristin, what a lovely comment! I must admit that I had not heard of Vivian Maier, so of course, I googled her. I have just spent the last fifteen minutes enthralled by her photography and her story. That my image should remind you of something she might have shot is, well … let’s just say I am so very honored by that thought. Thanks so very much.

Thanks, Pamela! It was such a whirlwind visit – friends from London, New Jersey, and Virginia all met up for two days prior to Christmas. But I will be back – hopefully in September (if not before). I’ll definitely let you know. Would be a kick to actually meet 🙂
