Bridger Gondola, our Happy Hour transport

What do Happy Hour, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and free gondola ride equal? A long queue of very excited party goers waiting to make the 9,095-foot aerial journey to the “best outdoor patio in the valley for happy hour.” Located at the summit of Bridger Gondola, The Deck offers 2-for-1 drinks and small bites, while sporting stunning views of Teton Village and Jackson Hole. Best.happy.hour.ever. And no driving required!
A very late submission to the Weekly Photo Challenge “Descent,” but, hey, at the time, I didn’t remember I had taken these photos (possibly having something to do with enjoying that happy hour!). On the other hand, this could function as a loose take on “Angular” as well, given the acute angle of the lifts to the valley below!

Yes, I thought it was “Angular” at first. Phew, you don’t want to be looking down those lines if you suffer from vertigo.

Cardinal, there was a dedicated gondola for mountain bikers who dis just that! It was fun to watch them come down the trails and over the moguls 🙂
