Highlighting the creative magic behind post-processed photos
We have a winner! Congratulations to Karen Chengelis of KCinAZ! It was neck-and-neck between Karen’s “Riverfront” and Emilio Pasquale’s “Golden Gate Bridge,” but in the end, “Riverfront” pulled ahead for the win. Such blogging excitement! The eleven of us participating in the challenge are excited to now see what magic we can do with Karen’s image of the Arno River in Florence.
Thanks to all who participated in the poll. Please check back next Friday, November 14, to see the gallery of the 11 AFTER photos. Until then, revisit all of the original BEFORE photos to find out who submitted what image. Photos are listed in alphabetical order by blog name, except for Emilio – as runner-up, I figure he should go second. π

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I am participating in a challenge hosted by Stacy at Visual Venturing. Several photographers submitted photo, readers voted and one photo has been pick for all of us to process. I have reblogged Stacy’s blog that announces the choosen image, during the week each of us will work on that image and all the processed images will be presented next Friday.
This is an exciting adventure, and it will show some similarities and differences in photo processing techniques, we don’t all use the same tools! Check out the submitted images, and check back next week for the results.

Thank you to Stacy of Visual Venturing for putting together such a fun After-Before Friday Anniversary Challenge. I am quite honored that my image of the Riverfront taken of the Arno River in Florence was selected as the Challenge Before image. I’m looking with great anticipation to see how each of the participants take their own twist on the picture.

I guessed Ben’s image and switched Stacy’s and Robins’ images. That’s about it, was clueless about the others.

Well, that was fun to learn, LorΓ©! I wonder what the others thought. Come on ABFriday posters, let us know if you were correct in figuring out who submitted what π
