Paris “street” life
Reportedly, there are eight traffic lanes in the roundabout surrounding the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Even from our bird’s-eye view atop the Arc, we weren’t so sure.

It’s somewhat surreal for me, it’s almost toy like at least the look of the cars. I love the tone and contrast and the overall balance of the photo is very nice, great shot! Cheers Mark

Ha! I never really thought about the “toy” effect, but now looking at it with that perspective, I find myself thinking the same thing, Mark! No stop signs? No traffic lights?
Washington DC has “roundabouts”….I get turned around and lost every time. I try not to drive there! Take a bus or a taxi instead.

Love your interpretation of this week’s challenge. Those poor cars, and drivers, in that round about. Chaos. Confusion. Fear. Step on the gas peddle at the wrong moment and you don’t want to think what comes next 🙂 I suppose many in Paris are used to this, and gutsy, if their roundabouts are this messy like a maze.

Ha! Luckily, there’s an underground passageway to the Arc for pedestrians. Can you imagine trying to cross this on foot?? Crazy…

Unreal, look at how close those two cars are to each other. The ones behind the truck in the top right… they’re about to bump together, but probably didn’t. I thought Toronto and Montreal drivers were insane.
